Not to be outdone by the troops in Iraq, here in Afghanistan we have lieutenant colonels reading Writers of the Future. Of course, it helps that LTC Carlson, the gentleman in the photo, sits across from one of the WotF winners!

JEFF CARLSON WRITTEN UP IN WALNUT CREEK JOURNAL

WOTF XXIII first quarter winner Jeff Carlson had a short article written about him in the Walnut Creek Journal, a weekly tri-city supplement of the Contra Costa Times in the San Francisco East Bay Area. The piece discussed the contest and Jeff's ongoing success, and also included an author photo.
