I thought the deadline was March 30th for first quarter? Is that not true? Or are those subs judged for second quarter?

Submitted my story March 30th, thought it was for the first quarter. Am curious why finalists are already listed? Did deadlines change?

I was confused about this too. It turns out that the 1st quarter is October to December. January to March is the 2nd quarter.
